Lake Level Viewer Data Download

Digital Elevation Models Directory

The NOAA Office for Coastal Management has developed high-resolution digital elevation models (DEMs) for use in the Office's United States Lake Level Viewer. These DEMs serve as the source datasets used to derive lake level rise and fall geospatial data. In some cases, due to the size of a lake, several DEMs represent a single lake. The DEMs are 3m resolution, vertically in meters and referenced to the IGLD85 datum, and horizontally in the NAD 1983 Great Lakes and St Lawrence Albers projection. Metadata records are available below and contain more detailed information, such as the source lidar datasets used to create the DEMs.
